life without ed

In this book Jenni Schaefer draws from her own experience with an eating disorder and how she became free from it’s hold in her life. In working with a psychologist, she personified her eating disorder as like being in an abusive relationship. She learned to identify “Ed’s” voice and separate it from her own voice. The ultimate and lasting victory for her came when she broke up with “Ed.”

goodbye ed, hello me

This book is a follow up book to Life Without Ed in that Jenni Schaefer describes her full and complete recovery from her eating disorder. In this resource, she shares that recovery is about more than maintaining a healthy weight and learning to eat again, it’s also about breaking free from it’s powerful voice in other areas of life, so that joy and freedom are experienced again.
